Book Trilogy
“This is Love” is a series created by Phoebe Judge, Lauren Spohrer, and Nadia Wilson, producers of the podcast "Criminal," which investigates stories about love. I selected a few stories from it, repeatedly read and understood them, and then created corresponding book covers for each one.
Ideation
Sketching
When considering each story, I brainstormed various sketches focusing on elements that stood out or were significant. Emphasizing the most important aspects of the story, I aimed to pique the reader's interest while avoiding overwhelming them with too much detail, maintaining a mysterious atmosphere.
Finalizing
Final Result
The book covers of this series grab the attention of the public by contrasting with intense neon colors or using related hues, adding a sense of mystery. At first glance, the color combinations may seem unusual, but they contribute to the design's charm.
